Art books

A colleague (friend and patient tutor of Maya) were recently discussing Art books. As an avid collector of nearly 30+, I thought I should post a quick review as a purchase them.

The Art of Dragon Age Inquisition is a fantastic book, it covers a huge range of material from the game and is shows character and story development. The hardback book is printed on high quality paper and every page is full color. Awesome 5/5

Genga is a collection of artwork images from Otomo Katsuhiro, the Japanese artist who created Akira and many other great works. This book is huge and contacts lots of black and white and some colour images. If you're a fan of his work then this book is a must. 5/5

I've had the pleasure of meeting Scott (http://cargocollective.com/drawthrough) a few times and attend two of his workshops with Neville Page (http://www.nevillepage.com/) and Nicolas 'Sparth' Bouvier. (http://www.sparth.com/) If your considering a career as a concept artist or need to brush up on your perspective drawing and rendering skills, this is the book you need. 5/5

I love Godzilla, but I have to say I still prefer the early 60/70's stuff. This book contains all the usual pictures and development and has some great concept artwork. I love the pull out pages on the different Godzilla sizes and has lots of full colour pages. I;m excited for the new PS4 game later this year and also the sequel movie. I'd recommend this book to anyone who really loves huge monster. 3/5

Great film, great animation. Why wouldn't you want this lovely book? 4/5

For me, this Movie was the best of the three. This continues the Marvel tradition of hard sleeved books and contains lots of additional stuff which wasn't in the film. It has some great storyboards and images of prototype Iron man suits, to be used later in the next movie.  However, if your looking for a book full of film photos, this isn't it. It's more development and concept based material. 5/5
